- You need 500 gm of lean meat (any meat can be used for this curry).
- You need Half of cup Chana daal.
- You need 1 tbsp of turmeric powder.
- Prepare 1/2 tbsp of chilli powder.
- Prepare 1 tbsp of garam masala.
- You need to taste of Salt.
- You need 1 tbsp of tomato paste or 2 fresh tomato.
- It's 1 of onion.
- It's 2 tbsp of cooking oil.
- Prepare 1 tsp of ginger garlic paste.

- First marinade meat with the ground spices. Leave it for 1/2 hour. Soak the Chana dal in hot water. Now heat a frying pan with oil. Add onion and fry them until light brown. Then add the marinated meat in. Mix them well..
- After 5 minutes add chopped tomatoes or tomato paste. Keep stirring until they mixed. Now cook the meat for 45mins on medium heat. If needed add water. Now add the soaked Chana dal. Mix them again and add 1 cup water. Cover with lid and cook for more half an hour. Check in between. Once the dal and meat are soft means cooked. Garnish with fresh coriander.
